Getting a lot of love for our Deja View feature at the moment, which we’ve dusted off and updated due to the arrival of No Strings Attached on DVD. The feature’s about those times when you’re watching a film, and you could have sworn there was one just like it only a little while ago. Chances are, there was.
We’ve paired them all up so you can compare and contrast. And do let me know if we’ve missed any out.
The car’s the star this week, so we rounded up some movie motor greats, as Pixar’s second automotive adventure arrives. And Toy Story aside, they haven’t gone down the sequel route much, but that may well change in the next couple of years, with Monsters University (a prequel that we’re very excited about), The Incredibles 2, and – yes – Toy Story 4 all in the offing.
No animation in our recently arrived streaming content, but a cracking mix of old and new: alongside Mickey Rourke’s epic turn in The Wrestler and all manner of female hotness in Vicky Cristina Barcelona, we’ve got the exclusive streaming rights to The Girl Who Played With Fire, and – 25 years old but still a superb watch – Jack up to a whole lot of no good with Michelle Pfeiffer, Susan Sarandon and Cher in The Witches of Eastwick.
And all that lovely lot are available as part of your subscription, which means no more monies required. So fill your boots – especially this weekend, and even more especially if you’ve got a PlayStation®3…
